After Boca Juniors President Daniel Angelici said “There is a 99% chance he will be sold to an English investment fund and then go play in Italy” the rumors started going mad about Jonathan Calleri. This morning the paper Clarin revealed that he went to Italy to get his EU passport.
Calleri is not shy about where he would like to play in the future;
“When I watch the Champions League sometimes I dream about being there on the pitch. Inter, is a club that I like quite a lot”, says Calleri to soloboca.com.

he will be sold to an English investment fund means that he will not be cheap at all, its gonna be like tevez, neymar mangala deals that there are others involved and that will make the price high, don’t think he is a good option if someone gets involved which looks certain they will
Would be ideal for Inter. We really need someone to challenge Icardi. He is my first choice for that. Then again we need right back and Thomas Meunier is the one I prefer. If we get Calleri then there is no hurry to get that “Number 10” as Jojo and Ljajic would cover it as a second striker.
I really like the way this team is heading.

How good is this guy?Is he good or jsut overated?Is he realy good and can be compared with other “talents” and players or he is just another “jonathan”?
I checked out some videos of him. He’s got pace and good finishing. Way more creative than Icardi
From what i’ve seen (youtube videos and stuff), he seems decent. He may not have Icardi’s goalscoring instinct, but he surely has plenty of tenacity and frequent burst of speed. As well as having more than decent physique. Dunno, seems to be the kind of player Mancio would like to sign. IMO this is a player that can fit right into our current system. Which is good for a winter transfer target.
