Yuto Nagatomo was on ‘Inter Nos’, a program on Inter Channel where the Japanese fullback spoke about the team goals this season;
“I think that we can manage to reach third spot. Now is a difficult time, but that happens. What is important is to work well and results will come. I am convinced that we will make it. I like playing as a fullback, it is the role I prefer. I like running and working for the team, as a fullback I can run more. I have been doing certain exercises to improve my physique for years and every day I work out with Handanovic, we also do yoga which he likes a lot. We work out every day before and after practice.”
Nagatomo also spoke about his relationship with coach Roberto Mancini and his contract renewal with Inter.
“Do I enjoy it here? Yes I do, I have been here for five years and I like it a lot. Renewal? I want to stay here, I turned down Manchester United because I want to play here. I get along very well with Mancini. He spoke well about me? He did that because the Japanese are stressing him.”

Just to shows that he is true Interista and loyal to INTER.. So that when he play badly I guess Well its okay, he is true Interista also.. As for market, in Asia and Japan a lot of quality young player that can bring to the club and make him as mascot.. So as club condition now we must be patient a little bit, but I think he must go.. He is not Inter material anymore.. Past is past now is now tomorrow is tomorrow..

he is loyal and good for inter business as a brand in Japan,he has been doing nice this season, just need more confidence and it’s true he really runs a lot and sometimes he shines, I know some inter fans don’t like him but he is a true interista hope he stays!

He is loyal for his own benefits. Deep down he and players like him on they not good enough to play for our team but they linger around like a bad smell. If he was true he would have done us justice by leaving. Fucking cut throats. At least rano did the honourable thing by leaving respect to him.
No, Schelotto and such are loyal to a fault because they know they couldn’t do better. Nagatomo was amongst best in his position in Serie A a few years ago and he could have had a much better contract somewhere in England. His loyalty is not the same as Schelotto where he had no other offers.

I hate to see Nagatomo play since his abilities these days don’t offer much past a few good games, but he is loyal. IMO he is alongside Palacio one of the most dedicated players in our current roster. If all of our players had such dedication we would work much better IMO and would see players try much harder.
Players have ups and downs. He’s a decent, useful player. He may be out of form right now, but who doesn’t? The whole team has lost confident after Lazio game. The fact that ManUtd offers him a contract speak for itself.
The fact is and i hate to say this but loyalty and the honor these days just for the right person. And he just is not the right person for us, maybe for any other team. If asking about loyalty and dedication, maybe any crazy inter fans among the world can be an inter player. Try much harder for how many years? He is reaching his peak already, so when do we want player like him reaching their best? when we relegated?
