Inter coach Frank De Boer will have Joao Mario at his disposition for Sundays important game against Pescara. Yesterday the Portuguese participated in his first workout with the team which included a morning jog and some time in the gym with his new teammates. Most likely, De Boer will immediately select Joao Mario as a starter for day 3 of the Campionato. Given his qualitites, he will be a valuable piece for De Boer, the Portuguese can play at any position from midfield and up. In Sporting Lisbon he was used as a central midfielder, midfielder, right winger, attacking midfielder and even as a second striker. In a 4-3-3 he would play alongside Banega, if De Boer would chose a 4-2-3-1 he could take on the role as an external attacker.

winning or losing is not determined by the formation..
why?
It depends on several factors 🙂 its too long to explain bro hehe
Ok,,,whatever
FDB should try 3 man in defense once more. This is my recommendation for him :
Handanovic
Miranda–Medel–Murillo
Candreva–Joao Mario–Banega–Brozo/Kondo–Perisic
Gabigol–Icardi
I think this formation will well working because :
* as we know that Candreva & Perisic has Excellent Work Rate
* Miranda & Murillo, they can dribble the ball as well
* Banega, show he has great attitude as a Regista
* Joao & Brozo/kondo, should be better Box to Box midfiled
* Icardi & Gabigol will be the best partner!
I’ve read somewhere that the board won’t allow playing with three man defence after the match with Chievo. We all know how that turned out. FDB was brought in so Inter can play modern football not go back to stone age like Mazzarri did.
Hi Dani, I don’t think this formation will make us back to stone age again like mazzari! our team for now has more creativity and FDB more creative to than mazzari.
Please look at Jube, they still use 3 man in defense ’till now, look so effectively.
i like the way you think..although im not sure how our player will react on the pitch..anyways we need to start collecting wins as soon as posibble now..forza inter
You are wrong mate, de boer use 3-4-3 in ajax and sousa use this formation too, it is not stone age formation, it depends how you use the players in the formation
If you play attacking game then it’s risky and if you play defensively then it’s rigid and transition is slow. It’s not the worst system but you really need to have perfect players to suit it. The reason why it works for Juventus is because of their centre back chemistry. Once Chiellini and Barzagli go it won’t be easy for them to maintain that system.
Yeah, the problem is the squad we made is for 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1, so dont take uneccesary risk by doing 3 cbs
Giadiola is considered one of the most creating and fresh thinking managers around and he quite often uses 3-4-3…
It´s at the end of the day all a quistion of what the players are allowed on the pitch (are the defenders only allowed to stay back like under Mazzari or is Medel meant to go forward and so on…)
Nice formation..Fit to all Inter best player. But I doubt FDB want to use 3-5-2 formation.
Hahahaha
You use this formation on purpose so lord nagatomo and dambro and santon wont play anymore, loll
If he’ll use system with 3 defenders must be 3-4-3, not 3-5-2. 3-4-3 is good, because we can avoid using our awful fullbacks, but it’s risky and we can use it only at home against weaker teams. On the other hand, 3-5-2 is most stupid system for us. If we use Candreva and Perisic as wing backs is extremely risky, because they are offensive players and we will completely lose the balance. If we use Nagatomo, D’Ambrosio, Santon, etc. is even worse, because we will play with 5 defenders, they are not so good in defense and completely useless in attack!
I understand your reasoning for wanting to use this formation, but I think it would be too detrimental to Candreva and Perisic’s energy going forward to commit them to playing a much more defensive position. Candreva and Perisic do have great work rates, but that is not all that is required of a wingback in that formation. They are not accustomed to playing actual defense which requires man marking and making essential tackles. Their only real responsibilities defensively in their current positions is to close down space and occasionally dispossess a defender, much easier than marking and dispossessing another winger. Personally, I think De Boer should stick with his 433 system, which isn’t too different positionally from what most of the players are used to from last year. This essentially the way De Boer set up his Ajax team the past two seasons from the midfield up:
B2B CM – Regista
Trequartista
