As far as I saw the game we did okay, not more than okay, in first half mainly because Southampton played VERY slow but after the break they clearly showed up much more determined and focused and we didn’t do much more than defend!
About Banega; I think he struggles a lot and seems not to know how to find the free space when a team puts a marker in him – like Atalanta and Samp did, and even yesterday we saw always two players on him. He is clearly used to more space and time and more quality players around him to help out in Spain.
I would lower him as an regista to play in front of the defense. That way he’ll get more time on the ball to put in his brilliant Pirlo-like passes!

you are right, we played with courage but we seriously need to let some players never play for inter again naga and rano starting with, rano almost caused liked 6 penalties, we are lucky the ref waved on and naga single handily eliminated us from Europe rano also had frog reaction on virgils goal, these busters are making so many individual mistakes its beyond thinking its accidents and can happen to anyone

If there is one thing Frank de Boer stands for on a tactical point of view it’s pressing the opposition on his own half. I didn’t see that yesterday. i saw a team who digged in and hoped on a moment of quality from one of our attacking players.
We didnt press, we couldn’t stay in possesion and we created almost zero chances.
southampton had 24 shots and Inter had only 5, because we were completely dominated by the Saints.
But with these players it doesn’t matter who the coach is, we will always suck.
If you look really honest to our team we only have 3 players who have some quality and those are Banega, Icardi, J Mario.
we have a group of players who are alright but will never carry our team to a next level with Miranda, Perisic.

actually I did watch the game, and to be honest it hurt my eyes. It was obvious the first half was our better half but if we start to qualify the first half as good or decent, we have really sunk to a level we we deserve to be.
In the first and the second half we were outplayed by Southampton a football club most football fans never heard of in 2010 when we won the CL…. This is the new reality which with these players no coach can turn around
well I expected us to get outplayed don’t tell me you didn’t, this season everyone has outplayed us with exceptions of few games, now I saw a team with courage which means the team was will at what they were doing either attack or defend , we defended very well their two goals were lucky goals, handa had courage he was on beast mode , everyone were playing with courage, now in this stadium everyone gets outplayed by Southampton, no one won in 8 months except that Chelsea game which the parked the bus and countered, this was so different for me than fdb games were players didn’t even wanno play, this game reminded me of the days when Leonardo took over and injected motivation into players, now I never saw us defend well like that except the rube game, u could easily see the difference

I can’t take this serious. Yes the own goal from Nagatomo was lucky but they should and could have won with 4 goals or more.
And this season Southampton only won 2, drawn 2, and lost one at home. They drawn to Sunderland which is the one of two draws Sunderland managed to achieve in this whole season. So it’s not like everybody gets outplayed
well 8 months of not loosing in their stadim before loosing to Chelsea, that’s not something we can say, we lost almost all our games in sansiro, so u see the difference , their goal was a rebound and an own goal, but agree they could of scored more, but this is handa’s usuall stuff, he is very hard to beat, the players were more discipline than when fdb was the coach and had more heart, handa saved anything that me his way
