According to Sport Express, Zenit S:t Petersburg has signed Branislav Ivanovic from Chelsea. Something that coach Mircea Lucescu, looking for a new central defender, is very happy about. The 32-year old looks to have signed a contract until 2019, while other Russian media claims the contract is until 2020. These news affect Inter, who saw Zenit as one of the biggest contenders for signing Andrea Ranocchia. After the Ivanovic transfer, that trail now looks to be cold.
