Corriere dello Sport gives Inter a 7.5 grade for their winter mercato. Sainsbury signed during the final hours but most of that grade comes from the arrival of Gagliardini. Also the exits have been good, Ranocchia, Jovetic, Miangue and Melo. “The work by Sporting Director Ausilio was highly appreciated by the managament that didn’t have to back down from such an important investment as Gagliardini, who arrived on loan until 2018 with redemption in order to respect the FP restrictions.”

7.5 is too high considering the outgoing deals of Ranocchia and Flopetic are loans without obligation. Would hardly be surprising if both return in the summer (Ranocchia almost certainly will).
Also no FB joined, despite it being blatantly obvious that this is the achilles heel of the team, though it was difficult to really do something here because of ffp.
I’d say it was a 6
Agreed. No FB and the supermarket man. I hate it.
what about Gnoukouri, he is with Unidese right..
I think it’s volder to a 9,5 just for Gagliardini inn and Melo/Rano out. Brilliant Mercato !
Indeed. Feel like a much more coherent squad with a focus on quality, rather than quantity. 2-3 quality signings in the summer and we can compete finally for Scudetto imo.
9.5 if we didn’t sign that fucking mediocre CB, a supermarket from UK.
Why don’t you stop being a rude asshole about a player you probably know nothing about and costs us nothing. We get that he shares his name with a supermarket by now… very funny.
I’m sorry for my rudeness. I already explain my reason above. Cheers.
Well… that was unexpected. Thank you for the courteous response.
We loan him and suning pay his salary. Why are u so angry?
Because we don’t need him. For this five years, we often bring mediocre players with low cost that we actually don’t need, such as this guy, Felipe, Mvila, Rocchi. Yes, in his case we can say no cost. But still, I don’t like this kind of decision.
We should only bring better players, or at least in the same level with our best player. If we can’t bring good player then don’t bring at all, use our primavera instead. This kind of decision is one of the reason why we became mediocre club after the treble, too many lords and panic/useless transfer.
We know that Inter didn’t need him, Ausilio didn’t want him, Pioli didn’t request for him, and Suning is the one who want this move. This is my second reason. I don’t like when the owner is the only one who decide the transfer without any tactical reason. We only have Serie A and 4 CBs is enough.
Thank goodness Thohir didn’t bring Indonesian players to Inter because all of them are shit, something that he did in DC United :/
We did jiangsu a favour so they can sell him in the future or become better bytraining with us. They gave us much money for transfer but we cant take their player just to train with us? Dont be a prick man
I know I overreact. I’m sorry for being a prick π
You can read my explanation above.
Think of it like this: no need to play, no need to pay. Nobody loses and if we don’t want to play him just let him train and that’s it. I don’t see the downside.
I know. There’s no downside at all. We didn’t lose anything. I just don’t like the fact that we still have same policy. I was angry when the news said we want to buy James Rodriguez. Not because the money but because the owner still can dictate the club to bring a player that not requested by the coach.
These are what I don’t like:
– bring not needed players
– give a chance to shit players but cannot let our youngsters to play, then we sell our potential youngster for a penny or use them to get mediocre players
– replace shit player with another shit player
You see the pattern right? I won’t be angry if he come to here just for training or trial. But when we bring him in as an official player while we tried to send our youngster? I can’t stand it.
He did a good job.
Jovetic should remain in Sevilla he is doing great there so i guess they will excersise the option to buy him in the summer,Melo is gone that is all that matters lol
Rano i think would probably return in the summer as Hull is probably going to get relagated and i do not think he would like to paly second division,he can probably find a club in top flight, but with a expensive CB coming this summer i think he won’t be staying for long in the summer lol
Miangue i would actually rather see in our starting XI then sold…he can’t be worser then what we have now,at least he is young so i can give him some credit..
There are not much to say about Gagliardini,h is turning out to be a crucial palyer for us really providing balance to the team with his smart movement.
All in all great mnercato, hope summer one would be just as great!

Agree i was hoping miangue could stay
For every great player came to Inter, there were always garbage players.
Yes, we bought Mario but we also bought Ansaldi and Erkin.
Yes, we bought Perisic but we also bought Melo.
Now, it’s Gagli-Supermarket Man.
As for Erkin,i can’t really say he was a flop he never did get a chance to play and show what he can do he was probably better than any of our courent LB…i read on this site that De Boer didn’t even talked to him when he arived and just told him he doesn’t count on him few days later after his apointment and that wasn’t really nice..i feel sory for Erkin to be honest..
Yes. He never get a chance to play, but he’s on the same level with our current fullback.
On Rano, if you see his game with Hull last night (vs Mou’s United) he looks comfortable with EPL. Let’s see how it work until the league’s end. I’m guessing, Hull will try to sign him at the end of his loan period #fingercrossed
or another EPL team
I didn’t say Rano would be bad for Hull,i actually think he does not deserve lower league and that he is good enough for a lower level top tier club, and if Hull gets relegated i think he will probably find a club in top tier be it in EPL or seomewere else
