Despite being on the bench, Gabriel Barbosa was cheered and chanted by the Inter Milan faithful at the Giuseppe Meazza in the 2-1 loss to Sampdoria.
On his father’s Instagram page, however, he recorded a video of the Inter fans chanting Gabigol’s name with the caption in Portuguese saying “Already the wise men said: The voice of the people is the voice of God.” in an ironic twist but clever caption.
