Even from those 3, only Perisic would have a chance to be a starter, though Mandzukic would still be prefered in most game due to his much better defensive contribution.
The players need a couple of leaders on the pitch – especially Gagliardini who plays his 1 hole season in Serie a – is he meant to carry the hole midfield on his shoulders? Miranda hasn’t been the leader we thought he would be, and he seems to not care a bit on the pitch doing no talking what so ever while playing and has been very sluggish this year! We need a new “Samuel” at the back and a new “Cambiasso” in midfield!

Don’t see a captain in him what so ever! A captain is someone who talks to his team mates and all ways does his best and oboes forward on the pitch showing an example. Icardi did it against Fiorentina- he ran like no one else and fought like a lion plus he scored 3 goals where as Miranda has been very sluggish all season and has a “I don’t give a rates ass” attitude about him…
he’s turning 33 in the summer so isn’t getting any better either.
