Stefano Pioli’s agent Bruno Satin spoke on his clients sacking from Inter last night in an interview with TuttoMercatoWeb: “He is disappointed, he did not expect to be fired. It was a surprise, he was motivated to carry on his job at Inter. Despite the latest results, he was doing a good job, it’s clear. It’s a pity, for sure he did not expect it.”
Satin then spoke on what the future holds for Pioli, giving the impression that it won’t be long until he is back managing somewhere: “Now he wants to restart, but it’s too soon to say something. We will meet soon to understand the situation, maybe next week.”
Pioli was sacked just six months in to his 18 month contract last night after Inter suffered their fifth defeat in their last seven games since they blew Atalanta out the water 7-1, which proved to be the last success Inter would have with Stefano Pioli at the helm of the club.

When you can’t win 7 games in a row at inter you know you’ll be fired.. Pioli should’ve already know that
This is a fucking joke.. Sacking him with just 3 matches left of the season.. so fucking unprofessional!!
Good luck Pioli, this isn’t on you! After 8 trainers, now 9 (Vacchi not included) who is it to blame?
Simple.. The squad is full of loser mentality players!
It’s not a joke. Only reason I see why he got sacked is that they already got/secure his replacement for next season. This squad is not going to do any good with him for the next games, and I’m pretty sure he was not going to change anything (tactical approach) for the next games neither. I believe everyone feels this season is already lost (no Europe League) so they really don’t care too much about the final outcome. Vecchi should play some of the youngsters while giving the farewell to those leaving at the end of the season.
our rival is bbilan for the el spot they are worse than us even with garbage players atleast we have the players Olympic champion, Euro league champion and European champion are all in this squad
we have asian and copa america champion too.. LOL
copa yes but not asian japan didnt win it i think uae knocked them out
he was an asian champion, forgot the year though.. ^^
but still this squad is full of shit.. we need to get rid almost most of them..
well we talking about recent, other wise ballotelli is also a champion
yeah, ballotelli was also a champion.. but too bad, just like our team he’s shit too.. ^^
yea he is a fuckboy, cheered for bbilan when we played them
He had lost the plot and the players after Fiorentina. Now we might fight for the EL spot with Vecchi. I’m not saying Pioli is a horrible coach, I even still kind of like him although I was bashing him big time after Genoa loss. It was always gonna be uphill struggle for him after FdB. Players and management are the main culprits this season. After the honey moon period with the team and that win streak Pioli did show that leading this team was just too much for him. He started making tactical mistakes, good fortune abandoned him and it seems the players also. After this horrible period it was just obvious that Pioli wouldn’t be the man to lead the team next season. If not now he would have been sacked anyways after the season ended.
All am saying is that it’s not the trainers that is the biggest problem! After 9 different, folks most realize! And would have been better to wait and sack him after the last game! The season is almost lost anyway!
I agree that the biggest fault is elsewhere. But my opinion is that these a-hole players would have done nothing for Pioli in the last three games.
Why should they do anything?
Some players knew that there position in the starting line up is safe, no matter how bad they fuck up. Examples: Candreva, Dumbo, Gagliardini, Medel
Some players were tired of working too much for the mistakes of the shit players: Examples: Perisic, Icardi, Miranda, Handanovic
Some players were shit by nature, but often were given the chance to start: Examples: Nagashit, Eder, Palacio
The rest of the squad: Why should we even try?! Examples: Gabi, Pinamonti,, Kondogbia, Mario, Banega
A smart manager instills motivation in his players by making them never feel secure for their starting position. He has the balls to play younger players, especially when his veteran player is a piece of shit (Nagashit) or old and slow (Palacio).
And firing Pioli is embarrassing. Still in my opinion it was the right choice this moment.
He asked for it by his loser mentality, caution, tactical inflexibility, and dumbness. Arrivederci!
he fucked up vs bbilan so bad told the team to defend when we were up then out of the blue bbilan scored two goals that was straight his problem
