Sky Sports (UK) report that Inter are seriously considering Spurs Mauricio Pochettino as their next manager. While Diego Simeone and Antonio Conte remain the preferred candidates, Pochettino to Inter is growing by the day. Inter are more than willing to pay the Argentine coach’s 5 million euro release clause. Moreover, they would be willing to offer him a salary of 10 million euros a season to take charge at the San Siro. Pochettino, who previously managed Southampton, has two years remaining on his contract with the North London club.
Other alternatives to Pochettino include Monaco’s Leonardo Jardim, Roma’s Luciano Spalletti, whose current contract runs out in the summer and Napoli’s Maurizio Sarri who is at loggerheads with the Partenopei owner over his salary.

Before deciding who will be our coach, we have to do massive reorganization with the team itself just like they have done with their internal staff.
Not even Conte can win with players like: Yogatomo, Brozovic, Ansaldi, Murillo, Dumbrosio, Kondogbia, etc, etc

Would be a ridiculous choice. No serie a experience and has done little elsewhere, would insane to give him suck high salary when he has extremely high probability of flopping before Christmas.
He has MUCH better players at spurs, thinking he can replicate this season with inter next season is silly.
Totally agree, he’s nothing special, just an attacking minded coach that knows nothing about tactics and defensive football, just like Jardim.
Simeone and conte don’t have balls to take inter job, just like mou when he left us, get spalletti already, he is passionate, he knows the league, and is a great tactician. on top of that he’s already hinted at reuniting with sabatini, he can revive us, our coaching seat is always attractive. Yeah, i think that is the only problem for him.. however if he can implement his football we will come far
If we want to ball out and splash money on an up and coming coach (as opposed to a top coach), at least offer the 10M to Jardim who managed to beat PSG and reach the semi-final of UCL with 1/3 of the budget PSG or other big european teams have.
Exactly my thoughts. Jardim’s a much better pick If we can’t get Cholo or Conte. My respect to Pochettino, but with the money and players that Spurs had in the recent years, he should have done better. Personally I’d go for Sarri. He knows the championship, he managed to form a personality from Napoli’s players. And he’s an asshole and our overpayed primadonas deserve just someone like him right now.

Jardim also plays 4-4-2 which would make it easier to change to Simeones’ style of play. Lets assume Jardim would not get sacked within a year and stayed with us for 3-4 seasons and the would be Cholos turn.
And Jardim could also lure some of his young stars with him. Probly not Mbappe due to his price tag and the fact that everyone wants him but maybe players like Mendy, Sidibe, Fabinho, Lemar.
Why would we go for a coach that knows nothing about tactics and defensive football? Just watch Monaco’s matches in UCL, their spaces in defence are unbelievable for a team that reached the semi final.
Oh trust me I’ve watched Monaco. As a French person, I think I know enough about ligue 1 teams.
