Suning have given up waiting for Chelsea manager Antonio Conte to decide if he’ll join Inter or not and will now focus their attention on bringing Luciano Spalletti in as the next manager. Corriere della Sera report that Spalletti could meet with Walter Sabatini today and outline the strategy going forward – with Suning’s target for next season being Champions League qualification – and transfer targets. Sabatini, the new Technical Coordinator has already been unveiled in China and will soon be unveiled in Milan. Spalletti’s unveiling will follow soon after.
Frederic Massara is also set to become part of the Inter management team which in turn will allow Sabatini to devote more time to Inter while Massara will focus on Jiangsu once he leaves Roma.
Inter will also make moves for a number of Roma players in the transfer window they further report. The Nerazzurri management met with their Giallorossi counterparts over Antonio Rudiger when Inter were in Rome over the weekend playing Lazio.

What don’t you like? Spalletti as manager? Sabatini being involved? Buying reinforcements in Rome? All of it?
Personal I was hoping for Blanc. But I think it’s good that we have chosen a manager this soon and I am fine with Spalletti. Like someone wrote: He is no-nonsense with balls, knows the league and will properly bring stability (no jinx!). Sabatini has a proven track-record and gives me great hope while Rudiger / Mano is far better than our current CB. I am positive – for the first time in a while.
Spalletti i dont think he is good , roma has alwayd been this good for years and shit in CL, he is just a regular italian manager we need someone better, when roma played us they relied on individuals, i dont know it just doesnt make me feel good i wanted simeone so bad
I would have looooved Simeone as well! But we are not the prettiest girl in the room at the moment. Unfortunately.
About Spalletti: Yes, he doesn’t necessary bring European joy, but – and it’s an important but! He seems to bring stability in Serie A where we must start. I really want to believe – after all, I’m an Inter fan, so if note hope, what do I have 🙂
Two important thing for me:
1. Stop expecting insta result. The inter I know these days loves sacking coach whenever bad progress occur. Bad results is also part of the progression and we always panick on that one.
2. Off load most of the mediocre/useless players. Really, I don’t understand why we never believe in our coaches but put our faith on the likes of nagashit or dumbrossio. Not even Conte could win if the best choice are always them.
Sounds like Suning have a plan. (Is that possible for inter, A plan?)
Hopefully it´s not to buy half of the Roma team like these stupid reports say. Nainggolan and Manolas would be great though

Well, let´s hope Monchi will go on a crazy mode and sell couple of their best players to us. Then replace them with guys like Rami, just because every junk player he took to Sevilla just magically worked out.

He was some sort of junk wizard in Sevilla. I’m very curious to see how he will operate at Roma. Maybe we will see a spanish coach at Roma. And then a disaster. Lol.
