Mauro Icardi is currently on international duty with Argentina, who had their first training session today. Inter’s captain, as reported by Argentine outlet Clarin, trained separately as he continues to recover from injury. Moreover, Icardi worked with the national team’s kinseiologist.

For the love of God, please don’t get injured. I could give less fucks about Argentina. Him not getting called up before was a blessing. But still though I found it such an insult that Gonzalo “chokes in the World Cup, two Copa Americas, & the UCL finals” PIGuain, and nobodies like Pratto & Alario were called up over him.
Finally.The time has come for you to take your rightful place as Argentina’s no.1 st.

So happy for him to be called up but I find it ironic that they call him up when he is injured. Let’s see if he’ll play or they can use this just to claim that they called him up.
