According to Corriere della Sera, until the funds are found for FFP everybody is for sale, Mauro Icardi included. While no offers exist, they stress that a sale of Icardi is not to be ruled out. The captain’s clause of €110 million – available only to foreign clubs – is able to be activated until July 10th.

Wtf ffp ffs
Chaotic shituation – according to FFP.
I really dont understand this FFP
I thought this season we are free from ffp. But in reality, there is always this ffp to limit us
if we wait so much all good players will be sold already we will be left with gabigoal type of players, expensive and not doing shit for us
Not his fault he score more goal that palacio did last season jn the league
With the rising of current player prices, we should insert a higher buy-out clause on Icardis contract.
But I doubt he is going anywhere, and he also said himself how he wants to win with us!
I don’t think Inter will win anything during Icardi’s captaincy
Only us, ffp hits only us. While Milan are spending and spending and spending.
Calm down, it’s media bullshit time for the next three months.
You’re right. Even thou it’s early Milan have been doing some great business while all we do is talk, talk and talk some more. It just makes you realize how fantastic Inter was in the 2000’s leading up to the 2010 season when we won everything. Makes you appreciate those players even more. I sure do miss the Milito, Cambiasso, Maicon, Sneijder, Stank, Eto’o, days.
milan are not in the european competition so they are not under investigation, the story would be different in the next season
The fear over FFP is silly, as Inter have no European competition next season. Besides, clubs like Manchester City and PSG violated FFP for many years; as they grew more popular, their revenue increased and they no longer worry FFP. We need to follow the same path, albeit 10 years too late.
You can get a ban that says you can’t play in next European competition you get into. If it would apply to Milan it would mean no EL – so no problem. For us it would mean no CL if we qualify next year. So just in theory – I don’t know the actual situation of Bilan.
While technically possible, they don’t really enforce it for storied clubs like Inter. Last time this got actually enforced was on Malaga; Man City & PSG continued to get away despite their violations.
FFP reporting periods are over 3 rolling years
My point doesn’t change. Inter already got punished last year, in which we couldn’t register Gabigol, Kondogbia, Jovetic and JM for EL and we crashed out of the group stage. That’s as far as punishment goes and getting banned from CL is unlikely.
Yes, and another condition of that FFP punishment was that Inter had to stabilise their finances. Last Season we couldn’t post a loss of more than €30 Million for the season concluding at 30 June 2016, and we must break-even for this season, concluding at 30 June 2017. The squad limit restriction hinges on Inter meeting the terms of their FFP settlement. If we fail to do so there is a possibility we will face further sanctions should we qualify for any European competition for 2018/19
Sure, and we simply have to take risks if we want to join the likes of Manchester City & PSG. They exploited numerous loopholes, including the 200M sponsorship contracts with Qatar Tourism Authority. Or just look at our neighbor AC Milan, who “delayed” FFP talks with UEFA just now to buy some time while they go on shopping spree this summer to strengthen their squad (already spent 80M even before the mercato opens).
The reality is clubs are playing dirty hands left and right, and playing clean only gets us 5th-8th places year in and year out. The only solution to bumping revenue is to own our own stadium, but that’s not going anywhere either.
