Fabio Capello was appointed as manager of Jiangsu Suning a few days ago and has since said that it’s of great importance that the two teams owned by Suning reach the top.
During his press conference today the Italian tactician said: “Suning is a group of great importance. They want to do very important things for football and that has convinced me to choose them,”Capello said.
“The team can and should improve to get out of this delicate situation. I will be the supervisor with the management of a group of competent people.
Capello will be joined by Cristian Brocchi, Franco Tancredi, Giampiero Ventrone and Gianluca Zambrotta.
“Gianluca has played with me at Juventus. Together we won two championships, that were then taken away,” Capello said – words that won’t ring nicely with Inter fans.
“With Jiangsu and Inter, we must do what Suning has done in all of its activities. Bring them to the top,” Capello explained.
