Today could be the day of truth for Borja Valero’s future at Fiorentina Gazzetta dello Sport have detailed. The 32 year old Spaniard is edging closer to a move to Inter and the two clubs will sit down for a final time today to close the deal.
La Viola have repeatedly insisted that not only have they not placed him on the transfer list but they have not tried to force him out of the club either. They are now ready to grant the midfielder his wish of leaving but do not intend to take the blame for the whole situation and how it has escalated.
The central midfielder has spent the past five seasons on the books of the Florence club and still has two years on his current contract, not that he will see those years out though. The one time Spanish international is a real fans favourite and holds a deep affiliation with the city as a whole but his journey with Fiorentina looks to be over.

Honestly he’s a very very good player. Too bad he only has one or two years left. But he’s definitely is the perfect man for us to guide our young midfield. I rate this signing highly, could be the most important signing this season. Hopefully.
