The amount of money PL clubs can waste, combined with the stupid FFP which blocks investors from other leagues to spend money, is ruining European football. Look at how much city spent on defenders: Mangala 50, Otamendi >50, Stones, >50, Walker 52, Mendy prolly 57 etc…
Crazy stuff, all clubs are now asking ridiculous amounts for average players.
I have to wonder though, why PL TV rights are so expensive whereas other leagues are peanuts? I agree this inequality is ruining European football, however the flip side is PL is a huge success and other leagues are failing to keep up.
