Inter face Bayern Munich as part of their pre-season preparations in Singapore this afternoon. Gazzetta dello Sport have predicted the lineup that Luciano Spalletti will start with:
(4-2-3-1): Handanovic; D’Ambrosio, Murillo, Miranda, Nagatomo; Gagliardini, Kondogbia; Candreva, Joao Mario, Eder; Pinamonti.
Mauro Icardi is unavailable for selection for the game as the Nerazzurri are cautious about his physical state as he continues his recovery from an injury that he suffered at the end of the past season.

Ok so I missed the game but have just caught up on the full match thanks to good ol’ youtube.
I must say I was very impressed with the team as a whole. Our defending was solid, and considering it contained Nagatomo that is saying a lot. The way we built up play from defence to attack, through the midfield rather than completely skipping it was excellent. It actually felt like I was watching a team with an identity, and with attacking intent, something we have sorely missed for many many years.
First half:
Excellent, fucking excellent. We were pegged back for the first 6min, and then after 1 superb counter attacking play we were ahead. Candreva managed to pick out the crosses he was bought for, and Eder did well to finish the first effort.
Bayern for me seemed very frustrated and kept wasting their attacking plays by blindly shooting. Probably a huge testament to our CB pairing, as well as our midfield duo.
The second goal for me was even better. More of a team build up play with an inch perfect cross by Perisic.
Second Half:
Damage was done in the first, as seems we decided to contain Bayern and frustrate them out of the game. A few attempts to secure a 3rd, but nothing concrete.
Positives:
Ok so for me a huge shout out has to go to Miranda and Skrinir. What a pairing. If they play like that for the rest of the season, then I can see opponents finding little joy from set pieces, and through the middle. They were excellent. (Perhaps I am putting too much praise on them, but compared to what we have been used to this is a god send. Feel like watching the good old days of Lucio and Samuel) Every time a ball was played into our box, I had confidence in our defence to deal with it.
Midfield – KDog and Valero pairing is what we have been missing. KDog was calm under pressure, and commanded the midfield. Valero added that experience he was bought in for, and added both calmness, and intelligence. I can’t believe this is the same Kondogbia we have seen previously. Pioli managed to get this level of play out of him from time to time, so lets hope Spalletti can do it consistently.
Attackers – Candreva… I will admit that I am usually a harsh critic of him, but today he showed what he can really do (perhaps putting on a show for Mr. Conte). His crosses were actually good, with all of them (yes all) reaching an Inter player, and not hitting the first man (shock) and his defensive contribution was great too. You can see why he is a starter when he plays like that, just a shame it is not consistent.
Perisic… Great game by Perisic and I have only 1 minor complaint about his game. I may get some stick for saying this, but there were times he was too greedy and refused to pass to Nagatomo. I know he is not a good player, but at times Perisic really should have given him the ball to keep the play going, rather then try and go it alone. Not a huge issue, but you can see his lack of desire to play with Nagatomo which could be an issue if he doesn’t leave, and we don’t fix our FB problem. I have to comment on his battle with Rafinha. It was nice to see some spice in the game based on player rivalry.
Eder… Excellent attacking runs, and his goals were well taken. Can’t really say much else.
Negatives:
N A G A T O M O… It is him again, although not as bad as we have experienced before. He put in a decent defensive and attacking shift, but was the only player that needed bailing out vs Coman by Miranda time and time again.
D A M B R O S I O… Provided nothing this game for me. Did a few good overlapping runs, but end product was disappointing, and he also needed bailing out vs Ribery from Skrinir.
Perhaps I am being too harsh on them considering the teams performance, but out of all those who played, I would put them down as the worst.
A side note on Gabi… Came on as ST and I was not fully convinced. Dropped too far to get the ball which meant we were essentially playing a 4-2-4-0 formation. This may have been more effective with a number 10 more focused on getting forward and shooting, then ball distribution (Jovetic rather then J.Mario), as it would have allowed Gabi and JoJo to interchange, causing confusion.
Overall a fantastic performance that has fired up the fans. Our defence was impressive, midfield dictated the play, and the attack was dangerous. We were well organised, with 7/8 men always behind the ball when Bayern were on the attack.
MOTM for me is out of Miranda, Skrinir, and KDog.
Miranda probably gets it for me though. He put in a bigger shift due to having to cover for Nagatomo at times.
-Long comment over-
agreed, perisic looked dislike nagatomo so much..
those yogatomo guy must out.
Skriniar is really impressive
i have to admit it , at first i doubt him
i hope he can continue to grow under guidance of Mr.Miranda
Why is nagatomo in the starting eleven? We should play Vellitti in these friendlies.
The organization was excellent today. Defence was very good especially Skriniar. Even Nagatomo did well. But still we need better fullbacks. Borja was good. Good work by Spalletti. This will shut Milan fans. We didn’t need 200 milion to beat Bayern.
Can someone clarify me on how the icc works as Wikipedia say inter or the new champion of the Asia leg will this says something else http://www.flashscore.com/soccer/world/international-champions-cup/standings/?t=S6riYAOT&ts=2BwzXSje
Will b happy to post wiki link if needed
It’s amazing how silent the Valero haters have gone…..
Valero actually didn’t do that well. I still prefer Kondo-Gaglia’s pair as our starting DMs
Agree. Me too
btw, thank you sempreinter for the match’s thread.. i was asking it in the last friendly. you guys are the best..^^
Can’t wait to see you guys on Sunday
next game is chelsea.. i hope we can show a good performance too
lol.cz this is our days mate
indeed..^^
Is it me or did we not get shafted by the fixture list in weeks 1-2 &8-9
Biabiany and fagatomo out!
i cant remember when inter playing like this. its fully awsome
amazing king kondogbia. in the middle he is the boss. #savek’dog
Spalletti showed today that he is a top lvl coach the moves to counter koman was brilliant playing the midfielder with high ball control was great as valero had composer under the high press then swaping he for the more defense galiardini but I am most impress was when he swap candreva for biabany to help dombro with Koran
Really impressed with skriniar today. Looked like a younger miranda. So calm on the ball and precise on his tackles. Love the quick interchanging passes too. Look like a completely different team. Like a team with an identity.
Skriniar was good in my eyes as well. There is no coincidence that he was in the best 11 team of the U21 euro this summer.
Damn ! Bayern’s most dangerous effort was Miranda’s shot
Good job to our CB’s
Didn’t watch the match as I am at work.
Would be nice to read some match review/analysis here.
Actually, it is far better to read all your comments here than read media bullshit news or repeated rumor article 🙂
Where is Antonio ? He is the Man..
22. may 2010.
Bayern Inter 0:2
<3
Good ol’ days lol
We play more as a team and above all the players are determined to prove a point.
Still we need FBs and if possible a number 10 for Spalleti system.
We play with our head cool. This is total different than last year.
SPALLETTI FUCKING BOSS.
Gabigol gonna get roasted by Italian press again
I bet they won’t say a word about Pinamonti lol
To b expected
But really so far gabigol hasnt add anything to the team. We really should have him loan out
I think either start him or loan him, the boy needs confidence and he’s not gonna get that warming the bench
Kondog is also really solid today…
Kondogbia play f*cking calm like a boss
Finally we had 2 proper cb imo. Calm in the most situation
So far I am very happy with our new signings. Giving positive impacts already 🙂 but honestly I wanna see more jovetic today 🙁
Spaletti saves him for chelsea because eder is injured
if he continue like this. skriniar can be the next big thing in our team..
we win..
Sabatini get us some FBs and whatever happens next is just bonus for me.
3 points!!!!
finally nagatomo out
so?
On 89:54 minutes
his stamina is great
Skriniar plays just like miranda. relies o interceptions and u never seen him go to the ground sliding around like a murillo.
More brain less muscle
He has muscles, but he’s intelligent and preferes to use it often.
He has speed to, was so impressed when he catching ribery and get the ball easily like stealing candy from a kids
because they read the game better than murillo.. like maldini once said if you have to ground sliding the opponent, than you’re already fail..
Azzkikr would say otherwise
Skriniar motm imo, solid as fuck. Borja Valero is 2nd cuz he played less.
Young Vidic ?
Young vidic when vidic were young
Renato Sanches
yogatomo still playing amazing, he is indispensble
he’s your best LB !!
Look at this… our other legendary fullback is here.. Ansaldick lol
this could be the end of gabigol career as CF for inter.. he looks confused.. maybe we should use him only as a winger..
Ikr he was dropping deep to collect the ball
yeah.. and don’t even make a run when mario try to pick him..
Can’t blame him he’s player more minutes in friendly than all of last year shouldn’t b deployed as Lon striker that is clear
Wow ansaldii
I dk why but I still have the feeling Renato Sanches will be a good player despite flopping last season…
He looked pretty awful in the brief time he was on the pitch bro
Grab him asap
Gagli for borja, brozo for mario and we lost the midfield
borja is the leader in our midfield.. he read the game really well..
Miranda testing handa
Guys i dont know why we had difficulties to get rid the likes of naga, bia and other. Is it because their wages or what? Im not seeing any reliable media mention transfer or something about them
Can you imagine Nagahobo is at 2.8M/yr ?
Damn i feel sorry for that money. We are doomed
the owners arent very bright
because no clubs want them
I feel so sorry to see perisic has to play alongside fagatomo….
That’s why I dont blame him for wanting to leave. It’s an insult to him honestly
Thought the same.. that’s why Inter should buy a top class fullback to keep him..
Totally agree he has to constantly cover him
wtf gabigoal why don’t you run forward!! you’re fucking striker!!
Tryin to figure it out why Biabiany takes chances…
wait biabiany is still here…..wtf
Where is ranoshit
AND RANNOCHIA WHAT THE FUCK I THOUGHT HE IS BACK IN ENGLAND
They’re all here lol.. Only Granpalacio is gone
https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/30a98d43bdee18b924043db9650d0c1d96944800dce015ed02f72e7dbc122bec.jpg
he play in all our friendly.. LOL
Get Dalbert + Aurier/Zappacosta to set Crossdreva and Perisic on fire every game,
And then we’re ready to send Lord Yogatomo to teach yoga at planet Namek
Zappacosta is 25 and hasn’t been snapped up by a bigger club and has been benched in atalanta by conti. why do u want him?
HE IS overrated doesnt even play for the azzurri just in useless qualifiers and then gets dropped when they play against bigger teams and in actually tournaments
lol so random when people throw his name in here. ambrosio is like miles better lmaoo
he is average but not much of an upgrade from dumbo
Aurier is a beast tho.
zappacosta plays for torino
What % probability would u guys say Perisic to man utd? I really don’t know ….
50/50
65%
Great move by spalletti they swap komon So he could target slower dambro So he counter with the speedy bibby to help him out
The brozobitch is in shit
we really need a #10 or just play a 4-3-3
handa is happy with skriniar and miranda in front of him
Looks like we’ve lost our dominance in the midfield
To b expect considering we swap 95 percent off it
time for our bench player to show their worth
