After Valencia’s La Liga opener against Las palmas where Valencia won thanks to a goal by Simone Zaza, Portuguese full-back Joao Cancelo bid the Mestalla an emotional farewell.
Cancelo started the match and gave an all-round good performance against Las Palmas before being brought off at the end of the fixture where he was given a standing ovation by the spectators at the Mestalla which proved to be too much for the youngster who burst out in tears to applause.

Watched him yesterday and he played well. He had chance to score and get assist. Maybe somethimes he tried to much i think. Jao played as a winger, after red card even as a forward. This guy might be very usefull.
i have a great respect for this guy.. he insist to play eventhough he’s about to move to inter.. he want to give his final contribution to his team and the fans.. compare him to some of our players like kondogbia who even refuse to attend the training ground.. SMH..

Exactly my point, in the end of the day the player is a human being so he should have some form of attachment to a place he spends most of his time with (more than his family) and also a place where he dedicates his hard work to improve himself into a better player..
