No less than 14 Inter players have been called upon by their respective national team for the upcoming international break.
European Call-ups:
Antonio Candreva, Danilo D’Ambrosio and Eder have all been called up for Italy’s World Cup Qualifiers (WCQ’s) with Spain and Israel.
Joao Cancelo and Joao Mario have been called up for Portugal’s WCQ’s against The Faroe Islands and Hungry.
Ivan Perisic and Marcelo Brozovic have been called up by Croatia for WCQ’s with Kosovo and Turkey.
Milan Skriniar is in the Slovakia squad that will face Slovenia and England in WCQ’s.
Stevan Jovetic has been included in Montenegro’s squad that have WCQ’s with Kazakhstan and Romania. Jovetic, has been called up as an Inter player but will not return as one with him moving to Monaco.
Andrea Pinamonti has been called up for Italy’s U19’s who have friendlies with Turkey and Russia.
South American Call-ups:
Captain Mauro Icardi has been called up for Argentina’s WCQ’s with Uruguay and Venezuela.
Matias Vecino will face Icardi as he has been called up for Uruguay. Vecino’s nation will also face Paraguay over the break.
Miranda has been called up by Brazil for their WCQ’s with Ecuador and Colombia.
Asian Call-ups:
Yuto Nagatomo has been included in Japan’s squad to face Australia and Saudi Arabia in WCQ’s.
