Gazzetta dello Sport have given Inter a 7/10 for their exploits in the mercato: “Inter were forced to slow down, if not stop after a promising start. They moved with intelligence bringing in Borja Valero, Daniele Padelli, Matias Vecino, Milan Skriniar, Dalbert, Joao Cancelo and Yann Karamoh.”
The Nerazzurri’s 7/10 rating places them in third place. Gazzetta handed rivals Juventus a 7.5 and Milan an 8/10 for their respective dealings in the mercato.

EVER.
Inter was taken care of the ffb ..and sure they need a CB I’m Jan so they need a striker because Gabi gol and palacio is out ..for the mid sissoko is not in forma
Whoever the admin of this site, please block Azzikr. So sick of him
my problem is we sold for too low, murilo banega and jovetic could all go for more, we were handing out players at black Friday discount rates
I find it funny that everyone on this site suddenly jerks off over Spalletti so much. Back when we were first linked with him i was just about the only person here who actually wanted him lol, everyone else was crying over not getting Simeone/Conte…
Anyways, i’d rate this Mercato a 5.5/10
Pros:
– Actually buying players for positions where fresh blood was clearly needed (FB, CB).
– Getting rid of a fair amount of unwanted players.
– Getting a few promissing youngster (Karamoh, Colidio, Bastoni), although they wont be making an impact any time soon and should go out on loan in the winter mercato.
– Spalletti is just about the best coach Inter can attract right now.
Cons:
– Overpaying for fairly unproven players. Skriniar and Dalbert are gambles.
– Hilariously overpaying for a squad player like Vecino.
– Failing to get a backup CB and a backup forward/winger (Karamoh is just a talent).
– Failing to attract a real difference maker, a top target.
– Being extremely slow (Dalbert signing in 48 hours for 4 weeks etc) and the whole Schick debacle which was quite embarrassing.
Inter spent 74m€ this mercato (only paying half of Vecino this summer taking into consideration) and sold players for 62m€, however 30m€ of those 62m€ goes towards last seasons accountancy due to the FFP thing.
So the net spent is (outgoing – incoming) is -42m€.
Hopefully they can break even this season, so we avoid more ffp crap next summer. If Inter does not reach the CL this year, then next summer will be extremely light in terms of transfer budget considering 18/19 is the last “break-even” season in terms of the FFP agreement + Inter has to pay 20m+ for Gagliardini which will go towards the accountancy of the 18/19 season.
Considering how important and impactful Vecino, Skriniar, and Dalbert on our squad right now, then still criticize their relatively moderate price on crazy today market makes your entire “cons” argument invalid sir
LOL we have played 2 games…. Dalbert played what? 20 minutes? Skriniar was good against Fio, but poor against Roma, Vecino average in both games…
Its utterly pointless to make conclusions about the overall impact of these players until the christmas break at the very earliest.
Dalbert is important because we don’t have decent LB and no decent LB cost below 18 mil euro in today market. Dalbert did play 34 min vs roma btw, Skriniar makes one mistake but did playing good entire games, and I won’t be surprise you take it wrong because you seems didn’t see any of our matches anyway.
Go back to the 3rd world cave you were born in with those petty insults.
Regardless of whatever delusional subjective views you have about their performances in the first two games though, it doesnt change the fact that you cannot make any proper judgement after so few minutes.
But regardless if they flop or become world class though, its still a lot of money for players who are gambles. A deal is not judged to be good or bad by the time a player has turned out to be good or bad, a deal is judged by the time its made based on the pro/cons about the player and the probability of the player turning out to be worth the fee paid based on his ability, age, experience etc etc.
It’s clear who is delusional, please mr. I miss marco branca, stop pretending you are inter fans in the name of asskikr. And, better born in 3rd world cave than in “1st world” sewer like you
“”””Go back to the 3rd world cave you were born in with those petty insults.””””

Wow, you clearly have problems. Why don’t you do us all a huge favor and stop commenting on this site.
It’s the honeymoon period with the new coach, so obviously we are all jerking off over Spalletti lol. This happens with almost all new coaches.
I agree mostly with your pros and cons, but I’m more optimistic about Skriniar and Dalbert, well mostly Skriniar.
The squad is very thin as both Skrini and Miranda must stay injury free and avoid dips of form. There really aren’t much rotation players for attack, only Eder. If we had a decent 3rd cb Spalletti could switch formation to 3-5-2/3-5-2-1 if the team would need some shake up, but now it’s not too feasible with mr. mistake Rano.
I’m not too confident about Inter getting to CL with this squad and like you said another failure will mean another lean summer in transfers. But at least we now finally know where the club stands and what the reality is, so we don’t have live in illusions of getting star players.
And as positives I have to say Spalletti and Valero will make this team much nicer to watch. I’m just so damn disappointed about how this market ended that I forget about the positives – better team all round than last year (but thin) and better coach who the owners/managers hopefully trust, which should bring some much needed stability.
I accept you thinking that Skiniar is unproven(even thought he is not but let’s not go through this again!)but Dalbert is really good!Dalbert is an amazing left back and it’s not like he prove his worth only last season but since he was in Portugal he was really good!
Overpaying for Vecino? The guy is a beast and he was wanted around Europe!
As for the CB I think we should have brought someone on loan but even though that we didn’t i am “ok” iwth Vanheusden and Frog being our back up !
A top target?Let’s be realistic please!
I don;t think it’s embarassing when the selling team demands more money than the “”””actual”””” value of the player!
F.e. i don’t know if Schick is worth the risk or if Keita is worth since he wanted to go to Juve!
Get your facts right and don’t believe what you read we sold for 62 million and payed for 86 million -24 million which is OK considering that we did smart! And saying that we sold players for “half” their price Banega came for free and was sold for 9 Jovetic left for 11 and was brought for 14 after 2 season of not playing or coming from the bench,Murillo became a back up and was sold for 20 and we will probably manage to sell Flopdongia for 28 too!
PLUS i don’t get your logic and how you “think”
You say as a pro “Actually buying players for positions where fresh blood was clearly needed (FB, CB)”
and you also say as a con “Overpaying for fairly unproven players Skriniar and Dalbert are gambles”
And i don’t see them as a gamble Skiniar played since last season and he did ok considering he had to pair with Silvestre!
And Dalbert was amazing.
As for Karamoh what kind of back up you wanted?Messi or Ronaldo?
Skriniar is young and only one season in serie a, thats the definition of unproven (and he was really bad in the first half of last season for samp). Dalbert also only has one season in europe and no serie a experience.
Vecino wanted all over europe? LOL please give some links to ANY rumour of him being linked to other top clubs.
There is also no double standard in saying its positive to buy players for needed positions, but negative that the players bought are gambles and that we overpaid for them. Its perfectly logical.
And my FACTS are right, please dont comment on this if you dont know what you are talking about. We did not spent 86m, because the Vecino deal is spent over 2 years (12 each year). The entire reason Inter started out so slowly in the market, was because they needed to sell players to break even from last season accountancy (the 30m). So despite, on paper, selling for 62m this summer, only 32m goes towards the acountancy for the 17/18 season, the 30m gained from sales before june 30, went towards the accountancy of the 16/17 season.
Cmon man, you shouldnt be that pessimistic.
Everyone here that watch inter match must have seen that Skriniar, Borja, Vecino doing good.
Maybe Dalbert not really have that much time, but from what people see he is so much better than our other fullback, cancelo also looks good too.
Only karamoah the one that doesnt play yet,
i dont like vecino much neither but yesterday he was MOTM
Shut up man. I dont know who u r but am pretty sure you’re an educated teenager with no manner
I agree with you this time
Our biggest/best signing was spaletti
In order to get a high score you, clearly need to spend and buy a lot, not just get the players you really need and that’s why Milan is number 1 on that list – bullshit!
Milan is overhyped. They will drop points against though opponents for sure.
Cagliari deserved to take 2 pts already
Media really love what milan did because they need it for their news material. They try to lure by give pressure on us to make big buy, but our management didn’t bite the bait. Very intellegent move from our director as We doesn’t have to spent on overhype yet overprice player like kondo or gabi anymore.
