Roberto Gagliardini spoke to Premium Sport after having helped his Inter win the third match in a row in the 2017/2018 Serie A, in front of over 57.000 spectators at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district.
“It is simply put fantastic to play in front of all these people who support you, it gives you the energy to do well. Today it was not easy but we fought well and in the end we won. Icardi and Perisic are two very important players for us, they are giving us a big hand but the entire team is doing well right now.”
In conclusion Gagliardini was asked to respond to Luciano Spalletti’s comments that Gagliardini wins back many balls for Inter to which he replied: “I have won back a few balls but I lost a few too. You can still improve. We have to finish in the top 4 then between March and April we will see where we are in the standings.”
