The possible renewal of Mauro Icardi’s contract and Inter will to double the release clause in having a certain echo in England. Look, it’s true we can protect him with contract etc, but what most important is to grow him with the right love and affection.
Make him believe that he will be legend, if he stays. He could be with the same wall-of-fame like Meazza, Mazzola, Vieri, Altobelli etc….. With that, even the release clause is activated, the player himself could defuse the situation by calling off the deal.

Isn’t is dumb to even have a release clause? You could easily just not have one and not accept any offer thats not astronomical. Icardi is Inter’s captain and club symbol and our near and long-term ticket to winning trophies and returning to our former glory where we belong. Based on how ridiculous the market is now and Icardi’s age, talent, superstardom, he shouldn’t have a release clause for less than 300 million euro IMO.
400 million please. im pretty damn sure PSG will buy him in a couple of seasons if he can keep his current form. I hate how inflated the market is these days.
