Inter have confirmed that Zinho Vanheusden has underwent successful surgery on his knee injury. The Belgian youngster tore ligaments in his left knee during the Inter Primavera’s game with Dynamo Kyiv in the UEFA youth league last week and went under the knife today.

The 18-year-old, who had been named on the bench nearly every game this season up to his injury, is expected to be out of action for a few months as he recovers from the surgery and goes through a period of rehabilitation.
