Luciano Spalletti spoke on the sidelines of the Volvo partnership press conference, “The derby is a fantastic game where you feel overwhelmed by the warmth of your supporters, We need to figure out how to recover players coming back from international duty. Milan are obviously a strong opponent who deserve our respect. Moreover, Milan is always a very tempting opponent.”
Speaking on his squad, Spalletti had the following to say: “It’s clear that when we talk about players like Eder, you know that you can put him in at any time. In midfield, those who play have the right quality [required for that game]. Our squad is not large but we have the right number and all can be thrown in from one moment to the next.”
Spalletti then discussed the work that has been done with those who have remained at Appiano Gentile, “We have been working individually with the remaining defenders such as Dalbert and Joao Cancelo trying to perfect their knowledge.
