Interviewed by GR Parlamento, Former Roma Legend and President of the AIC, Damiano Tommasi was questioned as to which of the 3 big matches this coming weekend is the most important “The Derby of Milano has such a particular charm to it.  Both of these clubs spent all Summer pushing to becoming Serie A contenders for the season.  Psychologically it’s such an important match but there also aren’t many matches that in October determine championships.  The real championship begins when Spring does and then we will see who’s in contention.”

When asked about his dear friend Vincenzo Montella, Tommasi added “I’m hoping they (Milan) give him enough time to work.  The project is an ambitious one and is no where from being over.  The team follows him, there have been several injuries  and it’s not easy adding pieces to a puzzle especially when you are playing to win now.  The results for Milan now has been sweated but that is also a sign of a club in growth.”
