Roberto Gagliardini was interviewed by Premium Sport moments after having helped Inter secure an important poitn away at the Stadio San Paolo against Napoli.
“Coming here to the San Paoli and going away with a point is very important. We played a good game, we need to improve but it is a good point. We know we are strong and we know that we have what it takes to stay in the top of the league standings. We are trying hard and managing to do that just now but there is a lot of hard work left in order to remain up there.Vecino and Borja Valero are two very important and experienced players and they are helping us a lot.”
Gagliardini was asked about his own performance stating that: “I gave some poor performances, expecially in the beginning of the season but I don’t think it was due to me being in a poor physical condition, just more that I made more mistakes. I am in excellent condition and now moving forward we hope to attain a lot of satisfaction.”
In conclusion Gagliardini was asked about Napoli’s Jorginho who continues to be excluded from the Italian national team stating: “We haven’t spoken but today he demonstrated that he is an excellent midfielder, and if Ventura selects him he will do so surely because he is a great player.”
i like his comments, motivating, complimenting his team mates and convincing, what a professional..
however his display on the ground was not so good in my opinion, especially when we do offence, he was nowhere after being pressurized by jorginho & allan, his off the ball movement is too minimal, passing is too slow, too much telephone passing and his success pass mostly when its back to the defenders either miranda naga or skriniar. he has been showed such display in recent match. hopefully this youngster will improve over the time..
great attitude.. i love that he’s not make any excuse for his bad performance in the begining of the season..
