Journalist Matteo Marani examined Inter’s performance against Sampdoria last night: “Inter were excellent for the first 60 minutes. They were excellent because they showed their ability to play as a team.”
Marani then examined some individual performances in the Inter team, “Matias Vecino and Roberto Gagliardini shone in the midfield, working together and working well with Borja Valero. We are also seeing a great Antonio Candreva, who has a great relationship with Danilo D’Ambrosio. Ivan Perisic’s ability to give support to midfielders is a sign of the desire to sacrifice these men. Then, there is Mauro Icardi, who is a top striker.”
Marani then spoke further on Icardi, the current club captain: “I think he is a super professional, he proved that during many off the field events that have happened. He never lost his ferocity on the pitch and this is one of his strengths. I’d say it’s a perfect match between Icardi and Luciano Spalletti.”
There is still something missing for Inter if they want the scudetto but they can certainly play for the top places, they have consolidated themselves. In January, they need a couple of players if they wish to fight for the top places to the end. The team was already at a great level but compared to last year this Inter shows sacrifice.”

one defender as main-backup ahead of Rano.
and one midfielder as a sub because Valero, Vecino, Gagli don’t seem to have much stamina. always look tired after an hour. Mario has been disappointing so far
we need another defender as cover for Skrinier and Miranda and we need an out & out attacking midfielder.
Apart from Skriniar surprising transfer success, I must say our decision to keep Perisic is spot on. His performance this season so far, only trying to match his worth to his new contract. All he does is trying to be the cult hero of san siro, and he made it so far! very impressed with Perisic
A trequartista & a deep-lying playmaker. I would take Nabil Fekir & Torreira. Who’s yours?
Sergej
I could imagine how struggle our DS duo fight with Mr. Lotito. Probably a full transfer session fighting. Haha
goretzka
It would be luxury to have an industrious-mid like him on our roster since his contract would expired for six months. The competition to get his sign would be very tough tho.
we are missing an isco type of a player
Isco is my dream.
His current buy out is over 150m. So forget it.
that’s not that bad tbh
I think it’s more. I heard it’s somewhere around 700 mill.I believe it was in one of Spaletti’s interview.
banega was not that bad
