Inter striker and captain Mauro Icardi spoke to Undici on claims that Inter have been lucky thus far this season.
“No, we’re not lucky, we worked really well in pre-season, we changed everything. The Coach is very attentive.
“Above all what we have in our head is the objective everyone is asking of us: the club, the President, right down to the last person who works here,” he said.
24-year-old Icardi, who has netted 11 goals in 10 appearances this term then discussed Inter’s scudetto chances.
“We’re not thinking about the Scudetto, we’re just thinking about continuing to work well.”
Icardi concluded by speaking on his future and how he sees it panning out; “I see myself here [at Inter], I want to stay at Inter for a long time, I want to win something with this shirt, but I won’t be in football at 40, I’m not like Francesco Totti.
“I’m not going to be a Coach or a director, I don’t think I’d like those roles. I think I’ll just be a dad, at home, with my family.
“It’s not difficult for me to be Inter captain, I have the personality to do it easily. Being the Inter captain is my mission, and I’m proud of all of this”

as long as his off field attics don’t bother with the team performance i don’t see any problem with him playing for Inter.
He has the personality for being a captain, yeah right !!
When I think he can’t get more arrogant he goes and proves me wrong. “He has the personality to do it easily”
What a lord ^_^
he does have some public speaking issue, the way he explaining things, thoughts, but thats not making him the wrong person to wear the captaincy band right now. as long as he could keep his and his teammates heads up and facing the game with dignity and keep on scoring, he have all the right to wear that band and self proclaiming as long as he want to. well imho 🙂
Understand, translation issues are a thing.
If “farlo tranquillamente” means to “do it easily”, then I’m the captain of Inter.
we believe you capitano
