The recent brilliant performances of Bryan Cristante haven’t gone unnoticed at Inter. The 22 year old Atalanta midfielder has been reinvented as a Trequartista by Gasperini after a career that up till now has seen him played mostly as a deep midfielder. It seems now though that the youngster has found his place in his new position and the Nerazzurri are keeping an eye on him with a view to making an offer for his services during the 2018 summer transfer window according to a report by FcInterNews.
Characteristically he is just the sort of player that Inter coach Luciano Spalletti likes. He is able to undertake the role of the trequartista as well as be able to cover both phases of play and be the link between the base of the midfield and the final third of the pitch. Cristante has already scored 5 times this season, 4 times in Serie A and once in the Europa League against Everton, and has shown great timing with his runs in to the box enabling him to be the extra man in attack as well as providing support for the striker and wide players.
The setback he suffered at AC Milan, where he played at youth level before finally breaking into the senior squad during the 2013/2014 season, has in some ways benefitted his development when playing for Palermo and Pescara on loan before joining Atalanta, who have an option to make the transfer permanent which they can activate in June 2018 ahead of looking for potential suitors.
Aside from Inter it is thought that Claudio Lotito’s Lazio are also interested in Cristante who see him as a perfect replacement for their young Serbian midfielder, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, should he leave the Italian capital in the summer. Simone Inzaghi could leave himself without a midfielder integral to his style of play at Lazio and the signing of the Atalanta midfielder would be a perfect fit.
However it’s not just Serie A clubs that have been looking at the player with Premier League strugglers West Ham thought to be in an advanced position and alongside Lazio look like more concrete potential buyers at this stage.
We need another type of striker juve manduzik and higuain, we only have icardi who scores ones in a blue moon, get zaza or bellotti we need these type of players, too much respect for icardi, we had eto milito pandev on the field, with balotelli sitting on the bench, ibra crespo adriano we can’t expect everything from icardi come on spalletti u clever then that. Now teams know they squeeze that midfield sow icardi is in no mans land, they know that he can’t dribble he can’t run with the ball, that he’s vision is bad. I wanna win this squadetto whatever it takes.recoba roonaldo with cristian vieri. Baggio zamarano Ronald but this team is like icardi icardi I’m sure he feels he’s bigger then inter.
What? Once in a blue moon? Lmao bruh..i agree we need more strike options but don’t be disrespectful.
I’m not, I don’t like him, as he kills our flaw I’m sure with eder the goals would be divided between the frontline, and we will still be at those area in the ranking. U know what happened in the summer friendlies
Don’t think you really know what you’re talking about – Icardi made an assist in his game against Torino totally serv8ng Eder the ball free in front of goal and him and Perisic are linking really well up together. In fact he’s getting really good at coming deap and holding up the ball or play8ng it wide to the wingers. He’s still only 24 years old and has a lot still to learn but I believe you don’t find many strikers around with his eye for goal – non of the strikers you menti9ned played for us at the age of 24 besides the benched Recoba if I remember correct and the best striker of all time Ronaldo…
I don’t care, you don’t make sense. I am talking about the flow of the game which he kills. Everyone sees this both inter supporters and non inter supporters alike. The games we played in the summer friendlies against Chelsea and Bayern are perfect example of how we need icardi, we saw how the goals were divided between players and how everyone was one on one with the goalkeeper due to perfect play. Let icardi on the bench and I will prove you wrong
You are talking about putting a young man on the bench who in his 24 years short life has been the top score in maybe the hardest league in the world to score in – the Italian Serie a, not once but TWICE!! And a lad who in 12 games has scored 11goals!!
He’s a finisher and shouldnt really be part of building moves but should only think ’ about getting into the box ASAP – but still he does! Mancini taught him to work more outside the box which he does also today.
Sometimes he gets too isolated when our midfielders are too far away from him, and then he struggles, naturally. He needs support as the box striker he is, but if he gets that support he’s deadly!
In 3-4 years time, when he’s 27 -28 years old he will be the best striker in the world – not a super fast dribbler like Ronaldo was, but a superb box player like Vieri or Crespo or Batistuta who are the two players, I have always thought Icardi reminds most of.
We have enough goal scorers, perisic scored today Greece , he scored vs Chelsea and even last week vs Verona but we a think about satisfying a individual over a team. We will die slowly because he will the whole team I’m sure spalletti understands this but it’s like he’s afraid of something.
You make no sense at all…
Please when u watch Inter pleas don’t watched with icardi love rather inter love then u will see it definitely
all of those teams also played with a system that was set up for more then 1 striker. we currently do not. so thats why we only have Icardi on the field, eder on the bench and pinamonti as the back up. and once in a blue moon? my man…what more do you want? he’s having a great start to the season. for sure he needs to be more clinical in front of goal but its not as bad as you are making it seem.
Mann, you read my mind…
He showed good determination as wearing Milan shirt. In addition, it would be pleasure to watch rival’s nursery product shining on our side.
We should have gotten Benassi instead. Now we’re looking at Ramires.
we must get him, under 20mil this guy would be a real bargain.
But is Atalanta going to sell him for under 20 m?
I dont’ know, but our management does have great relationship with their now, so some ways could be found
ffp would be a stumbling block for january, and im not sure about selling mario this fast.
for depth next season if we qualify for europe sure if its a good deal
