The dream start to the Serie A season is over after Inter suffered a heavy defeat at home against Udinese by 1-3 after the Nerazzurri were very wasteful in the first half whilst not being able to create anything of consequence coupled with an allround poor performance in the second half. It is back to the drawing board as the hard work for Spalletti and the players starts now.
Despite Icardi getting on the end of a brilliant Candreva cross, equalizing a few minutes after having conceded a goal to Udinese’s Kevin Lasagna after very questionable defending by Davide Santon, the Nerazzurri were unable to turn the match around completely. Inter missed a plethora of chances in the first half and were unable to create anything in the second half as Udinese hurt the Nerazzurri on the counterattack and Inter’s are undefeated no more.
