Earlier today Luciano Spalletti held the first training session at Inter’s training ground in Appiano Gentile to begin preparations for the Serie A Saturday afternoon fixture away at Mapei Stadium against Sassuolo, with kick-off scheduled for 15.00 CET.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Inter coach Spalletti will be forced to make quite a few changes in the line up after the poor individual performances against Udinese by Marcelo Brozovic and Davide Santon. Also, Uruguaya midfielder Matias Vecino picked up a yellow card in that fixture which means that he is suspended for the fixture.

According to the report this could mean that Antonio Candreva is moved centrally into the pitch and deployed in the number 10 role behind Icardi up front with Joao Cancelo replacing him out on the wing. Roberto Gagliardini would partner Borja Valero in midfield whilst in defence and Yuto Nagatomo is expected to regain his place in the starting line-up on the left hand side of the Nerazzurri defence.
