Inter legend Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Bergomi has stuck by the team while many have came to the conclusion that Inter as a club are in crisis mode.

“Despite Inter not winning for five consecutive games, I do not see a crisis surrounding the club itself. I say that because I know the dynamics of the club and clearly notice that all components are on the same side.

“I am convinced that Inter are going through a results crisis though. You have to remember the first half against Udinese and the match against Sassuolo up until the wrongly awarded penalty which changed the game. The current decline is affecting the most important players of the squad like Mauro Icardi, Ivan Perisic, Antonio Candreva and Borja Valero.”

Bergomi then concluded the interview with Gazzetta dello Sport by discussing Nerazzurri manager Luciano Spalletti.

“Luciano Spalletti is a clever man and coach, he knows very well how to turn it around. He knows that at this moment it is no longer enough to have just 10-15 minutes of quality from his main men to win the matches. The Inter of today need to take whatever good they can produce during this less than brilliant period. However the environment around the club is healthy and there are no elements to be able to talk about a crisis.”
