Inter coach Luciano Spalletti has called 21 players for tomorrow’s end of calendar year Serie A fixture against Lazio at home at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district with kick-off scheduled for 18.00 CET.

There are no real surprises in the squad the former Roma coach has named with Danilo D’Ambrosio and Joao Miranda being unavailable due to injury as reported previously. Aside from that it is the same squad that lost the TIM Cup midweek quarterfinal derby against AC Milan 1-0 after extra time.

Whether or not Spalletti will use the same starting lineup as in that fixture remains to be seen but after his performance in the Derby it is highly unlikely that Joao Mario gets to start again in such an important fixture against a direct rival for the coveted 4th spot in the Serie A.

The squad:

Goalkeepers: 1 Samir Handanovic, 27 Daniele Padelli, 46 Tommaso Berni;

Defenders: 7 Joao Cancelo, 13 Andrea Ranocchia, 21 Davide Santon, 29 Henrique Dalbert, 37 Milan Skriniar, 55 Yuto Nagatomo, 98 Manuel Lombardoni;

Midfielders: 5 Roberto Gagliardini, 10 Joao Mario, 11 Matias Vecino, 20 Borja Valero, 77 Marcelo Brozovic;

Attackers: 9 Mauro Icardi, 17 Yann Karamoh, 23 Eder, 44 Ivan Perisic, 87 Antonio Candreva, 99 Andrea Pinamonti.
