Inter and Santos have struck an initial agreement over Gabriel Barbosa reports coming out of Brazil have suggested.
Inter have agreed to let the 21-year-old return to his former club on a year long loan and the striker is understood to be a mere step away from completing the switch. Negotiations have been helped along by the player himself who has agreed to a wage cut to facilitate the move.
Gabigol’s annual salary of €3 million was initially proving to be a stumbling block in negotiations but it is unclear how much he has agreed to slash his salary and if Inter are contributing at all to further help Santos.
The 2016 Olympic gold medallist has had a torrid time since departing Santos 18 months ago and it is hoped that he could re-find his form that earned him his €30 million transfer to Inter with this loan move back to where it all began.
This is some scary shit:
Gabriel Barbosa €30
Kondogbia €40
Joao Mario €40
– And now we are talking about Rafinha for another €40? When will we ever learn?
This freaking club is for masochists!
We are making back Kondogbia’s money, and Westham is offering 1.5m loan +40m option to buy. Gabi is a different case!
Do you have articles about this?
As I understood we only get around €20 for Kondogbia..
It seems like the Rafinha deal is going to be option to buy which helps a lot though
I clearly remember Kdog’s right to redemption is 30m + 25% future sale
It’s mostly media’s fault imo they let the kid get in his head that he was the second coming of Ronaldo, bye bye those 30 millions…
Well the introduction ceremony at the stadium did not help either. Think I have never seen that big time show for a player at Inter…
the new ronaldo in brazil was gabriel jesus, not gabriel barbosa. gabriel barbosa was the new neymar.. LMAO.. XD
he is very stupid;
drived by his greed he forgets on his football development.
after this contract he can forget on any big money as a
proven flop and forgotten wannabe player.
stupid people from brasilian ghetto …
inter want to pay up to 45mill for rafinha while at the same time they could get
much better, younger, more skillful player from real madrid _ dani ceballos !
crazy !
gabi out, rafinha in.
result different ????
I would be mad if I realize that we are gonna pay the punk’s salary to play in Santos!
i agree. we might as well have him sitting on our bench or remain in Portugal if we are still paying his wages.
We have one of the worst management in football…We paid for him 30mil+wages and the guy only wants to have fun..and we send him back to Brasil,so he can carry on with the night life ..
Even if Inter were to contribute with his wages, it’s still better to send him there where he’ll get some playing time. Even if he doesn’t improve, he’ll recover some of his sell-on value
Gabi is a lost cause. If we do that we are sending the wrong message to our players, our future players, and the clubs that are doing business with us. Ausilio found Gabi a CL club in a country that speaks his language, and he blew it. So either he cuts his wage and go to the place he wants to play, suck it up and go to China, or play for Benfica B.
