Javier Pastore’s future will be decided within the next 24 hours according to a report from Corriere della Sera.
The Argentine midfielder remains the topic of conversation between Inter and Paris St. Germain, who have been in talks over him for a number of weeks.
The 28-year-old is eager to secure a move in order to make the Argentina squad for this summer’s World Cup in Russia due to not being granted enough game time this term.
Moreover, the Milan based newspaper report that Pastore alone will not satisfy the needs of manager Luciano Spalletti.
The Inter manager is understood to have requested another quality midfielder. Celta Vigo’s Stanislav Lobotka and Real Betis’ Fabian Ruiz are both names that are under consideration with the players having release clauses of €35 and €15 million respectively. Inter however will not be able to acquire either player unless they can strike a deal that involves loaning the player and there being a redemption option attached.
As for Daniel Sturridge, the Liverpool striker will only join Inter in the event of Eder departing the club.
