Just a few short days after having signed a contract extensiom with Inter, which will see him tied to the Nerazzurry until the end of June 2022, the Nerazzurri have decided to send young Belgian defender, Zinho Vanheusden, out on loan to Standard Liege.
News of a new contract has been in the media for a number of months and the Belgian’s father has previously said that negotiations over a contract extension were already underway and the injury simply put the talks on standby.
Well now the youngster has fully recovered from his difficult knee injury and the Nerazzurri want to allow him to regain full match fitness in a familiar environment, so they have loaned him to Standard Liege until the end of the season with an option to extend that loan for another season.
However, there is no option in the loan for the Belgian club to sign the youngster on a permanent basis, who Inter have a lot of faith in, something the contract extension a few days ago witnesses.
he will be back this summer to replace škrinjar who is likely moving to some rich club ???
if so it’s good that he will be hopefully playing in belgium.
what’s with bastoni, also coming back in summer ??
He’s been prepared to replace Miranda someday, not Skriniar ofc.
I agree, but situation with škrinjar has changed for better and for worse at inter. better is that he is growing, and worse is that rich clubs want him.
