It will not only be Arturo Vidal that Inter and Milan will battle it out for in the summer transfer window. According to a report from Tuttosport, the Milanese clubs will also fight for Mateo Kovacic’s signature.
Bayern Munich do not wish to lose Vidal on a free in the summer of 2019 so are looking to start a bidding war at €10 million this summer. A better price for the Chilean midfielder than both clubs would have perhaps expected but it has to be remembered that he currently earns €6 million per season in Bavaria.
Meanwhile, Kovacic has struggled to break in to the Real Madrid team since joining a few years ago and if the situation does not change in the near future he could request a move elsewhere. Inter made an attempt to bring the young Croatian back to San Siro in January but due to budgetary issues could not complete a deal.
Vidal is a very good player but eh, we can find better alternatives.
imo, positive point is he still got best teaching from legends (some of them) here before he went to madrid. and there, he experiencing himself to become a champion. that mentality is really a plus to bring him back
Hope Kova back
I hope we can bring back Kovacic.
Its smarter to get both Kova and Vidal even if they came on loans, and make space by selling Brozovic, because having both means a transition in Inter’s Medfield quality.
