Tuttosport are of the opinion that Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has been “unleashed” following Ausilio’s ongoing work well ahead of the next transfer window in the summer.
Ausilio firstly secured an agreement in principle with Argentine starlet Lautaro Martinez and has now turned his attention to trying to sign Stefan de Vrij and Kwadwo Asamoah. Both de Vrij and Asamoah have expiring contracts with Lazio and Juventus respectively and would greatly strengthen Inter’s back line if they are to join. Tuttosport also do warn however that Asamoah could still renew with the Bianconeri.
Ausilio’s work does not simply end with those three players though. He is taking a number of wingers under consideration such as Erik Lamela, Simone Verdi and Angel Di Maria. In addition to this, he is looking at adding central midfielders and is thinking about the likes of Arturo Vidal and Mateo Kovacic, Seko Fofana and Nicolo Barella.
I think it has to do a lot with the owners as well. Because yeah Moratti made his mistakes, like not rejuvenating the team after we won the CL, that was the biggest mistake.
But on the other hand Moratti knows football, so when he went all in for certain players he went all in because those players actually had some potential and he was actually capable of cooperating with coaches and understanding as well criticizing their ideas.
Thohir and Suning have no clue about football, if they did have any clue about football especially Thohir we would have been in CL long time ago. But it has been like 5-6 years Thohir took over and still is president and no improvements at all. They are running Inter like it was some fashion company. It is a football club for fuck’s sake. You have to be passionate, you have to make your players work their ass off. Do you really think Moratti would have allowed of Icardi, Brozovic, etc to make fun of Inter and its fans ?! Never ever.
So the only hope right now is some italian fan that loves Inter to buy it and to have funds and knowledge of football, or just some Arab Sheik. We are going to transform into Liverpool until some miracle happens and we get someone like Clop and some crazy funding comes that can help us out!
All interesting names.
yeah right we wont get anyone decent lol
The title would have been better if it was: “Ausilio has been fired”.
I thought that. it is a clickbait.
We all know these transfer rumors links us with half decent players before transfer window. Comes the real month and we ends up buying no name players for high bucks. It is still a mystery to me on how this man is keeping his job.
100% right.
even the best DS hired by inter we still buy no name player. Ausilio not working wonder and not bad either. its Sunning who disappointed the fans most by far. since they take over, sunning greatest achievement only bullshit about big name.
While some blame does goes to sunning for their fake promises but it should be also noted that we spend round bout 200m in past 2 seasons. This sum maybe a meager amount but look to the other teams above us beside Juve and you will see they have spent far less than us.
None of them were bad players, as they show it in the other clubs and leagues. We have been a bad team full of bad coaches.
Bad team and bad coaches? and who build teams especially in italy? It is the job of DS. Coach do have some power but very little one in this regard.
Controlling the locker room, choosing the right tactics, motivating the players and getting the best out of them is the coach’s job, and when a coach sucks in these aspects, u can’t even get the result with Messi and Ronaldo.
After 2010, the only coaches at Inter level were Spalletti and Mancio, the rest are undoubtedly shit.
Well I do agree with with the Coach jobs and also admit we had some shit coaches too. Beside Strama who were immature and perhaps Leonardo the rest had immense experience.
Benitz, while consider shit now was famous manager at that time. And he was also quite successful in Napoli afterwards. Winning them 2 cups.
Mazzari was lured from Napoli whose team won coppa and qualified for CL.
Mancio is a born winner in domestic football.
Ranieri is highly experienced manager and knows how to get the best out of his team. Look at Leicester city.
Gasperini is a mediocre coach but he is playing better football with his players and his players are poaches left and right by bigger teams.
Pioli finished 3rd with Lazio.
De Boer was a mistake at the wrong time.
Spalleti back to back qualified for CL ahead of Inter with financially weaker squad than us.
Serie A best Manager right now Allegri will flop with this Inter heck even Sarri will fail. That doesnot mean they are not Inter level, in fact Inter squad is not any better than top 4 right now, save for 2-3 players.
Except Mancio and Spalla, all the coaches that u mentioned are mid-table team coaches. Maybe have had some moments here or there, but don’t have a period of success.
Good names, but we need money to support any action in the transfer market.
i think we are already preparing for life without Icardi
I don’t like half of those names, specially when it gets to the overpriced supposedly Italian talent
Jay the market is deferent than last year, thanks to PSG and Barcelona moves, those who worth 15 millions now worth 25 millions, if Dempley worth 120 millions then Icardi must worth 200+ millions, we need to solve our financial problems and rebuild the team with hopefully superstars we can discover.
