Suning technical co-ordinator Walter Sabatini has put media rumours that he has already resigned to bed in an interview with FCInter1908.it but confirmed he is in talks with Suning over his future.

“I am discussing the situation with Suning, but it’s a very calm conversation and I’d prefer not to talk about it, as I am waiting to see how events develop. We are discussing it in an environment of complete mutual understanding. It would’ve been nice to create something a little more consistent, but never mind.”

Sabatini then spoke on Inter and discussed his experience with the club overall.

“I expect Inter to be Inter, to play well and win the remaining games that need to be won. If that were to happen, it would be a consolation for an experience that has not been great.”

Reports have also suggested that Luciano Spalletti could resign but Sabatini revealed he hopes Spalletti remains in charge for a long time.

“Luciano Spalletti is the Coach of Inter and I hope he will not only stay next season, but begin a five-year tenure that this club deserves and win many titles which he also deserves.”
