Antonio Candreva has called for his teammates to continue to believe in themselves after the 0-0 Derby della Madonnina draw in an interview with InterTV.

“There is regret as we played a great game and it ended like this. we did everything we needed to win, but we have to think about Sunday now, with Torino being a difficult match.”

Like Danilo D’Ambrosio, the winger agreed that it was 2 points lost rather than a point gained.

“It is 2 points lost, but this gives us the strength to continue. We still have a long way to go in order to meet our goal. It is up to us to believe in ourselves and not to lose our determination and humility.”

Candreva concluded the interview by discussing the tactical changes made recently by manager Luciano Spalletti.

“The important thing is that they allow us to get shots away from not only inside the box but outside it too. We’re trying, sometimes it’s good and sometimes not but we have been doing great things lately.”
