Tuttosport have praised Inter for their quick thinking on the Lautaro Martinez front as the Argentine forward’s transfer to the Nerazzurri edges closer.

Inter began negotiations with Racing Club back in February and have long had a deal in place with both the Argentine club and the player himself. The early thinking of the Nerazzurri’s transfer people has undoubtedly saved the club a lot of money. Borussia Dortmund are understood to have made an offer somewhere in the region of €40 million soon after Inter struck an agreement with Racing Club and had Inter left it until now to chase the 20-year-old, they would likely be being upwards of €50 if not €60 million due to Martinez’s recent performances.

Martinez’s move to Inter is expected to be officially confirmed within the first few days of July and he will begin his Inter adventure on July 9th when Inter start pre-season training for the 2018/19 season.
