Inter are making progress in talks with Monaco over a loan deal for full-back Dalbert, according to Sky Sport.
The Brazilian endured a disappointing first season for the Nerazzurri after signing from Nice in a deal worth €26 million, making just five starts in Serie A and playing a total of 525 minutes, and is expected to leave the club during this summer’s transfer window.
Sky Sport reports that an immediate return to Ligue 1 is the most likely outcome for the player, with Monaco working on a deal that would involve an initial loan worth €3 million and an option to buy for €24 million.
Talks between the two clubs are ongoing and it is possible that a definitive agreement could be reached over the next few days, which would represent a boost for Inter in their quest to comply with UEFA’s Financial Fair Play regulations.
Borussia Monchengladbach are also said to be interested in Dalberrt, but at the moment Monaco are in pole position.
