Inter’s Italian full-back Danilo D’Ambrosio is attracting interest from his former club Torino. The versatile defender has been a consistent fixture in the Inter line-up in recent years but has always divided opinion amongst fans.
D’Ambrosio has made 120 appearances for Inter since he arrived from Torino back in the January transfer window of 2014. He arrived off the back of a good run of form and performances with the Granata before moving to Inter and even captained the Turin club during his time there.
Il Giornale reports that this is not the first time Torino have asked about the availability of the Italian international, adding that there is a real possibility he could return to his former club.
During his previous spell at Torino 29 year-old D’Ambrosio made 122 appearances in both Serie A and Serie B, scoring 10 goals playing mainly in the left-back position. It remains to be seen if Inter would be willing to sell a player in a position in which they already have few options.
