Sassuolo president Giovanni Carnevali has insisted that interested teams must meet the Neroverdi’s evaluations of their players or they can kiss goodbye to signing them in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.

Carnevali’s comments come after heightened interested in wing duo Matteo Politano and Domenico Berardi from Inter and Roma respectively, neither of whom wish to pay the demands of the MAPEI Stadium club as per reports circulating in the media.

“Today I will meet Piero Ausilio and I am curious to know what he has to offer but I must be clear, Matteo Politano is worth €30 million, and not a penny less, and this is the same for Domenico Berardi, who Roma like. Our players do not leave for less than that amount, in fact, if we sell one of them, the other will remain.”

Reports have suggested that Inter are wanting to land Politano, 24, on loan with a redemption option set at €25 million and to help sweeten the deal, they will send Primavera pair Davide Merola and Gabriele Zappa to the Emilia-Romagna club.
