Inter and Atalanta have completed a number of deals between one another in recent years but one deal that will not be happening for now anyway is one involving Filippo Melegoni, FCInterNews.it understand.
Melegoni has long been of interest to Inter but looks set for a loan to Serie B for the coming season and this can only be considered a good thing for Inter, who could go in for him this time next year, as they will be getting a more complete player than the one they would get if they were to sign him now.
The 19-year-old Italian youth international midfielder is under contract with the Bergamo club for a further three seasons and is one of a long line of players to have come through Atalanta’s now famed academy in recent years which has produced Alessandro Bastoni and Roberto Gagliardini, both of whom are now at Inter.
