Genoa president Enrico Preziosi has seemingly ruled out the Grifone making a move for Andrea Pinamonti with Inter’s current demands in place for the striker.

“I have to say that he would not be a starter for us so we can not spend the figures that Inter are asking us for. After all we are Genoa,” Preziosi revealed in an interview with Telenord when questioned on the prospects of signing the youngster.

It is unclear what Inter are asking for the 19-year-old striker who has very little in the way of first team experience but however based upon other reports in the media it is likely to be around the €10 million mark with a buy back option attached.

An almost ever present feature on the bench for the first team last year, Pinamonti was limited to just 11 appearances all season, 9 of which came for Inter’s Primavera side, in which he scored 7 goals.
