Matteo Politano’s agent Davide Lippi has tipped his client to have a good debut season with the Nerazzurri following his arrival from Sassuolo this transfer window.
“Against Lyon he had a good game. I am happy for him, he wants to confirm himself as a great player and I am sure he will have a good season,” Lippi said in an interview with Sky Sport on the sidelines of the Bobo Summer Cup.
Lippi also spoke on Inter’s interest in signing Luka Modric from Real Madrid.
“It is not a simple operation. There is a chance that Inter will get him but it depends mainly on the will of the player. It is also not easy because Real Madrid has already lost Cristiano Ronaldo and will not want to lose another important player. Manager Julen Lopetegui has said that for him he [Modric] is irreplaceable, but he would be for any coach.”
