Inter legend Marco Materazzi took to his official Twitter account to welcome back Paolo Maldini to AC Milan after it was revealed that the former Rossoneri legend will be taking a Director’s role at the club.

Materazzi recited an old Curva Nord banner which paid tribute to Paolo Maldini during a derby tweeting: “For twenty years you were our rival, but in real life you were always fair” I quote the Curva Nord. Welcome back Paolo.”
