While the Italian transfer market has been shut for almost two weeks, it remains open in France and other European nations until Friday and according to a report from Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, St Etienne want to take Inter’s Yann Karamoh on loan.

The Frenchman was previously courted by Serie A newcomers Parma but no move transpired due to the fact the youngster had every intention of remaining at the Nerazzurri this season. This is despite the heightened competition for playing time due to the summer arrivals of wingers Matteo Politano and Keita Balde from Sassuolo and Monaco respectively.

Karamoh has asked Les Verts for a day to consider things and ultimately make a decision om his immediate future that would appear set to be away from Inter.

The 20-year-old made a four minute cameo appearance in the opening day loss to Sassuolo and was an unused substitute in Sunday’s 2-2 draw with Torino.
