There are some high expectations for Radja Nainggolan’s first official game in an Inter shirt this season. Corriere dello Sport are focusing on the Belgian who is likely to be in Inter’s starting lineup for tonight’s game against Bologna.
“Inter have not had a player like Nainggolan for quite some time. They have been lacking in players with his characteristics (both technical and mental.) We have already felt this deficiency in the first two games of the season, but it will be up to him to carry the team on his shoulders during these difficult times.”
However it is obvious that Nainggolan cannot be at 100% after being out due to injury for a considerable amount of time.
“It has only been ten days since Nainggolan has started working at full force with his teammates. Inter’s medical staff wanted to proceed with caution because muscular injuries are delicate and need to be handled with care. Nainggolan has a very solid physique and a similar problem could be solved in less time if it were to recur in the future. This break that Nainggolan has taken could prove to be useful as we could be ready to see the best version of Nainggolan when it is time for Inter to play in the Champions League.”
